This weekend (Fri., May 13) will kick off this year's Texas Crawfish & Music Festival in Spring, TX. Each day brings new bands to the three stages of the festival.
This festival lasts two weekends and features performances by Ray Wylie Hubbard, Lit, Fuel, Max Stalling, Cory Morrow, plenty of zydeco bands, and several other rock and country musicians. For a complete lineup, click here.
The festival boasts 25 tons of crawfish, carnival rides, vendors and more.

Texas Crawfish & Music Fest (Spring, TX)
This will be the 25th annual Texas Crawfish & Music Festival in Old Town Spring. The event takes place on two weekends: May 13-15 & May 20-22.
If you buy your ticket online, it only costs $8 for one day. At the gate, tickets are $12. Kids under 12 get in free. Also: Free entry with military ID (active or inactive).
If you're not into crawfish (I'm certainly not!), there's still stuff for you to do here. They will have carnival rides, games, vendors, and live music each day. For a list of musicians playing the festival, click here. I hear that Lit will also be there, but it isn't on the website yet. There is a Facebook event page here, though.
For more information or to buy discount tickets, go to their website: http://www.texascrawfishfestival.com
*Update (4/27)*
The music schedule is now up, and it includes everything from Lit to Come See My Dead Person to Ray Wylie Hubbard - and also karaoke contests! You now have no excuse not to GTFO and check out the TX Crawfish Fest!
